> 10 step plate heat exchanger refurbishment:
- Dis-assembly of phe on or off site
- Steam jetting to remove all loose deposits
- Acid/ caustic imersion to remove organic & non organic fouling
- High pressure washing of transfer surfaces
- Ultra-violet dye penetrant testing of transfer surface, visual inspection of the channel groove for distortion & deformation
- Installation of new replacement gaskets
- Two part epoxy cementing of gasket
- Oven curing (vulcanising) to ensure super strong bond
- Re-assembly of the phe
- Pressure test (with p.t certificate)
